Hi Guys, On the 1939 Farmall A I just got I've noticed that when you start the tractor (in Neutral of course) and push in the clutch it doesn't completely disconnect the trans from the engine. When I move the shifter it will grind for a few seconds until everything stops. Is this normal with these old machines. It's been raining for the past week so I haven't been out to try the old double clutch trick. Once you're underway you can shift no problem, it's seems to be just when you start her up. Any ideas? thanks, bob
