The annual Temple branch of the Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association show will be October 2nd & 3rd at the show grounds in Temple, Texas.
Show times are 9 AM til? both days. To reach the show grounds, take the Nugent Ave. exit off of I-35 in Temple and go West about 1/2 mile to Eberhardt Rd. (the Acer building is on the corner with a blue metal roof). Turn right on Eberhardt (it's currently being redone so be careful) and the show grounds are about 1/8 mile on the right. The entrances are well marked except for the exhibitor's entrance which is new and on the North edge of the grounds. Plowing demonstrations, large stationary engine exhibits and demonstrations, a stock pull, several restored (and unrestored) buildings from around the Central Texas area, swap meet/vendors area, daily parade and other activities. Nice grounds with restrooms/shower and plenty of food vendors. Usually 300-400 tractors and 200 or so engines.

Y'all come!
Phil
