There are tune-up videos available from this site. I havn't seen them so I don't know if they cover your Dad's condensor. It sounds like he has a magneto on his H? If so, that fiber washer comes out from the inside, he has to take the top off the magneto and loosen the condensor (there's a screw holding the back end of it), slide it back to disconnect it from the wire to the points, and the fiber washer will come out with it. It's not hard to do, but it's hard to explain here. Gotta be careful not to drop anything into the magneto. BTW, the magneto on an H is the same one used on A's, B's, BN's, H's, M's & others. The instructions on one will cover them all.
