W400 Diesel in need of TLC

I picked up a 55' W400D that is going to need some major going over. First off, the motor is tired and needs to be overhauled, she's got some major blow-by. Also, the TA is shot. That shouldn't be anything different from the other setups I've seen such as the "M's"? Anyhow, I'm having trouble finding any good detailed information unique to this model. For example, it has the two hydraulic couplers that go to the rear. All of the hydraulic system is there, except for the directional handle and linkage to the valve. I'm assuming it does not mount to the right side sheet metal like the regular 400's and such since there is no hole. The top sheet metal that goes above the hydraulic valve and gauges is missing. Is that where the linkage and or handle comes through on this model, or where does it go? The spline shaft for the linkage to go on is sticking out of the right side of the directional valve, and I can see that there use to be somthing on there. Also, the handle to the TA is missing, where would that mount? This machine has been run hard and is caked with oil from front to back. My tach even has oil in it, but I saw from another listing that its possible that the oil found its way up the cable and into the gauge? This thing had been sitting for a long time. It does run on both the gas and diesel, but I think somebody put diesel in the gas tank from the way it smokes when you switch it over. One last thing, I know these tractors are far and few between, but what would something like this be worth all fixed up? The serial # is 1950 S.
