Through a friend I found out about this Farmall A. It hadn't been run for a few years and was sitting in the back of this guys yard with black plastic over it. Talk about stinky gas, wow. That black plastic didn't help that situation a bit. Anyhow, I thought about buying it, but I already have enough tractors, so I told my friend about it and convinced him to go and look at it with me. It turns out that it is a 1950 super A and it was originally painted white. He really got excited and paid $1100 for it, which is ok, if he doesn't find much wrong with it. He hopes to have it running tomorrow. He is very knowledgeable about mechanical stuff, so the tractor found a good home. He is thinking about painting the tractor white again. What color would you guys paint it?? Can a person find the correct decals for a white A??
