Cub Low/Rev Noise?

Does anyone have experience fixing the Low & Reverse noise in a Cub. Will replacing the Low/Reverse Slider Gear fix most of the noise in most cases? I find the slider (350867R1) readily available but not the mating gears. Thanks, K-Mo
