Hello. I have a Cub Lo-Boy exactly like the one that you are describing. Mine is yellow and white with the squared off front like the 1960's cubs. My serial number is also low like yours and I was told by an IH dealer that I had a 1954 Cub lo-boy INDUSTRIAL model tractor. They had the squared off front when the regular models did not. It still takes all the same parts as the other cubs and lo-boys but has the different styling in addition to a slightly higher governor setting. I hope that this is of some help to you!! Best of luck! If you have any more questions about your tractor, please don't hesitate to contact me at pa_cowboy81@yahoo.com or call me at (814)724-1487. Kipp
