In a catalog I have, there is an amp gauge listed for Super H, M. Another gauge is also listed for the Farmall F. I have a 9n ford that has a univeral gauge installed in it,which needs replaced.... but since the charge rate is normally low, I'd like to get something with a little less amperage for full deflection....to make it easier to see what it's charging. The above mentioned gauges are 20-0-20 instead of 30-0-30.... Can anyone tell me about the way they mount?...Will they work in the 2 inch hole the universal is in now?..... I've never seen one of the gauges but don't think there is any reason it couldn't be adapted.... Is there some special quirk to these gauges that might hinder installing one????? Thanks !
