ignition switch for letter series IH

IH used the same looking ignition switch for years that was all metal. Where would I find one of these for a distributor system? Should I head for a salvage yard? Whats a reasonable price to pay for one?? I got one from the local IH dealer and it doesn't look anything like the original one, it has a large black plastic knob on it.
