First of all, does it only do it with the PTO engaged? If it does it all the time, boy I don't know for sure without listening to it, maybe a bent PTO shaft? I'd have my doubts, but hard to believe that it would have caused a noise in the MCV, maybe a coincidence? I suppose it could be the PTO drive gear sitting behind the pressure plate, there is some room for it to echo in there and make you think it was somewhere else. Maybe you chipped a tooth off of it and that's making the knock, it would rotate no matter if the PTO was on and no matter if you pushed the clutch in or not. Good luck, and sorry, but it sounds like you are going to need it.
