It was no problem getting on and off back then, and my legs probably weren't as long then as they are now. Certainly not on that Cub. At 60 though I sure apreciate that step. I guess it's not so much the legs as it is what hangs over the belt. The legs aren't quite as flexable as they were back then either. I was driving one day in my truck, CB radio on picked up on a conversation. One guy was complaining about the lunch his good wife had packed for him, "all kinds of fresh garden vegetables," He said," I wonder if she is trying to send me a message." His friend responded," May be she is trying to draw your attention as to how much hangs over the belt". My good better half tends to be a bit more blunt about that subject.
