I can't get too excited about the "New" Farmall. Farmall, McCormick and Cub Cadet were all names related to the equipment produced by the International Harvester Company. IH is no more and neither is Farmall, McCormick nor Cub Cadet. The companys using these names know they can get a higher rate of return on the cost of a decal than on the cost of engineering and marketing a new name. They will use the IH names to exploit the emotional attachment we have had with the past IH era. I do hope the new tractors succeed, but I would rather see them succeed on there own merit. Not by expoiting the Farmall name. I could put a Farmall decal on a John Deere and paint it red, but it would still be a John Deere. The name does not make the tractor, the tractor makes the name. Don't let those marketing people suck you up in their hype. Keep a level head and look at the tractor not the decal stuck on the hood. My 2 cents
