I had noticed that in all the books I looked in that the head lamps were on the "out side", unlike mine. The thing cranks well. About a 20 count on the glowplugs will start it, but if I hold it down for another 30 count while it's running, it will stop smoking. I live in Florida, so at least I don't have to deal with trying to start it in sub-zero weather. I'm running the original fuel, which was farm grade diesel (I figure that's why it smokes so much in the beginning). I plan on running regular diesel simply becouse it's easier to get. I changed the hytran fluid and oil with all the filters, but since I still haven't recieved the manuals I ordered, I didn't know if it had any screens that needed cleaning. My Uncle had around 600 aceres and my brother in law was a hay farmer, but this is my first tractor. It's going to be fun to learn about it. Next toy will be a box blade. Thanks again for the info.
