Scotty: Like Haas said stay out of the mud and water and they will run for years. I know it's been 7-8 years since I have done my tractors. There is good and bad on this one. If you have to pack the wheels you also adjust any slackness on your bearings. Some people tend to get a bit grease gun happy and pop the seals on the greasable hubs. If I remember correctly later Farmalls like the 560, 656 and 1066 all had greasable hubs. The only two front wheel bearings I ever remember going bad during operation was one of each, being on 300 without zerks and 560 with. What was common to those two tractors was they both did a substancial amount of loader work. If I were you on a SA I wouldn't change. I personally wouldn't change any tractor.
