I have found that in the winter time that all old tractors, dogs, cats and people like warm places. Since you have owned your Cub for 10 years, when was the last time that you replaced the points, condenser, rotor, distributor cap, plug wires and spark plugs? When was the last time the carb was cleaned or overhauled? How old is the battery? A weak battery will work OK on warm days and then quickly fail you on a cold day. To replace all of these parts is not really that expensive, but man what a difference it makes for a fast lite off.
