I am no expert, but will try to help. Are the front frames pipe, flat stock, or square stock steel? This will narrow the model no. down a bit. A pic. would help too, even if it's on a pile. The types of shanks really doesn't matter, several types were available to all machines. Odds are the cyl.'s have been removed and used elsewhere. In most applications the rear handles are used to set depth, and handles in the front are ment to adjsut the closeness of the machine to the row. I never say never on the fully manual lift. My uncle had a H without hydraulics and a cultivator on it, but I think it was from a F-12, 14, or 20. It were steerable. I've been told I was wrong on paint many times. Basically frames that bolt to the tractor are red, stock or pipe frames "National Blue", and shanks and clamps black. Row shields blue or black, seems to depend on age, older being blue. I have seen cultivators that the square stock frames are light blue or black, and appeared to be original paint. This is where people think I am nuts. Again, more details on framework will help, and again, I'm no expert. I know alot onH-M 2-rows, and 4-rows, but have little experience with F-series and 300-450 cult's. I know some on the 461's, but much of anything else I'm at a loss. AG/Andrew Ginter

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
