Can't figure out how old my M is

The serial number stamped on is 250369X1. Its got an oil bath air cleaner, so I'm guessing it's an early model. Also, our Farmall 706 needed a new motor. Since we are turning a 1066 into a pulling tractor, we had the old 1066 motor lying around. We fixed it up and put it in the 706. From 70 horse to 125 horse, what do you think?
