You have a very good point, many times over the years I have seen these old gas Farmalls have one cylinder wear much faster than rest. I had that in my 130 a few years back. One cylinder was down to about 40 lbs compression while others remained over a 100 lbs. I my opinion no one is going to rebuild cylinders that are over 100 lbs., however I don't believe those should have a new piston, sleeve and rings put along side them. Every time we do a rebuild we should save the best 2 piston and sleeve sets. Might be great for us to have a registry of who has what. I tell you guys, the time has come for doing this type of thing. I went to CaseIH dealer other day, just for my anual supply of oil filters, points, etc. If I hadn't used my bank card, it would have taken a larger container to carry money in than parts out. The B@#$%%^&% anual inflation rate on new antique tractor parts must be somewhere in the 50% range. Talk about organized crime, and I thought all along it was bankers and politicians.
