I recently discovered water in my oil and will have to replace the head. Since I have the oil pan off.......... would it be a good idea to replace the main and rod bearings? I will not be removing the crank. If the journals look smooth, will it be ok to just replace the bearings? Also, it looked like the rear main wasn't accessible with the pan off. Can the rear main be replaced without removing the enging? I may ring it while apart.
