Im a diesel machanic that knows nothing about tractors. I work on stationary engines, generators, pumps, boats, ext. I bought this 300u for work around the homestead and it was a fixer-upper. I got the engine it tip top shape in about 1 week (my forte) But, now Im lost. What is a Torque amplifier? What is it for? I know I have one ,but how do I know if its working? When I'm driving up hill in 1st I pull on the TA handle and.....I free wheel it like disconects my tranny. the same thing in all gears . No movement. This is'nt right is it? It must be wiped out right? Do I need it? Thanks.
