What is a 240 PLS

I just came across a tractor that has been sitting in a garage for a while. The loader has 240A on it and the tag on the side of the operators platform says 240PLS model number. It has a 3 cylinder diesel in it and if I read the tach right it has 479 original hours (unless the last number is not tenths of an hour) then it would be 4797 hours. But it is in great shape! Was wondering what all you gurus thought would be a good offer for it. The resident bought the property with the tractor on it and they need the space for parking in the garage. Yes the tractor has been inside all it's life. I do not think they know what they have.
