Spring Checklist for the novice

This will likely end up being a long answer so if I don't get responses I won't have my feelings hurt.

Sooner or later this darn snow is going to go away (we got another ft yesterday)and I will be able to put my 350U Wheatland Gas to work getting the garden ready. I know that sounds like small potatoes but it is the only serious work I get to do with my litle red baby so I am really looking forward to it. What I was wondering about is what should my spring checklist look like. I know the obvious things like change the oil, new gas, clean and gap the plugs (only about 20 hrs on them), top up cooling system but what are the other things I need to be thinking of. What other lube compartments do I have to worry about (I do have a TA)? I am sure this sounds like a really novice question but I would hate to kill a bearing or bushing just because I thought I knew all the different reservoirs and then found out the hard way that there is another one.

As a chuckle for those of you who are already talking about working your ground, like I said I got another ft of snow yesterday and there is more on the way for the next 3 days. Here in Calgary you can't count on a frost free night until after May 24th!!! and then the frost is usualy back by September 21!!
