This story from AP contains the gist of what he said. As far as I'm concerned, if he wanted to say that in the United States, in an interview with a U.S. news service, it would be unfriendly, but not criminal. But he was in Iraq on Iraqi TV. I think a fitting punishment would be to let it leak (to Saddam) that he has been passing intel to us, and that he was the one that provided us with evidence that Saddam was at the palace when it was bombed on the 19th. Let Saddam take care of our problem.
