I-4 has different gear ratios in the transmission to go faster in the lower gears. Should have a foot accelerator also and also has a tranny brake so you can shift without stopping quicker than the W-4. I believe the I-4 also came with a heavier duty front end. Other options included different wheel and tire combinations, such as solid rubber tires and duals out back.
