Dr. Evil Read my other post, and your right none of those tractors were engineered for loaders. About the only engineering that went into farm tractor loaders was customer demand. When I was a teenager my dad had an H narrow front with the old chanel iron frame loader, neighbour had that same loader on Super M. I do know this as they worked together a lot When the H was on the loader and SM was spreading a lot more manure went out than when SM was loading and H spreading. I went on to operate that farm and milked a hundred cows We spread manure with a 1066 loaded it with a Case 1737 Uniloader. My dad could never accept the fact that skid steer was faster than Farmall 560D and 2000 loader. One day I caught up with him just as he was starting to load 13' dump truck with clay. I went to other side of dump truck with skid loader and put 90% of the load on while he did 10% with 560. Loader work is not a big horsepower job. Just use your engine for the counter weight and 4 wheel drive. With the use of your hydraulics you can equalize traction on both axles. I also see on forums 4 x 4 farm tractors are also poor excuse for a loader tractor. They are beating the lighter axle too bits. Versitile, Case, Ford, NH, IH have the only true loader tractor. Call it what you may, it was the Versitile 276.
