I had the generator rebuilt and sent the cut off / regulator along with it for testing, it came back and the rebuilder said the cut off was ok. I put it back on the tractor and the cut out went bad in month or so. I went to the IHC dealer and was told that cut out wasn't available. They got me a regulator to replace it. (Big diagram) on how to rewire light switch and ect. Beyond me. I took the tractor to the dealer and they put it on for me. When it got it back it only charged 2amps wide open. It had a resistor on one of the wires on the regulator, I removed it and it charges 20amps plus, boils the battery dry. Recently it quit charging. I had to adjust the front coil in the regulator to make it charge. This only lasts a couple of days then I have to readjust it again. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
