Jeff, Your carb sounds like a real challenge. I have had similar problems. I sprayed blaster penetrating oil on the screws then used narrow vise grips to turn the screw heads. Worked for me. Looks like you are going to need a carb rebuild kit. I have had good luck using the services of Treadwell Carburator Co. in Treadwell N.Y. They can rebuild it for you or will supply you with a new or re-built one. Best of luck to you.
