The over running clutch lets the PTO shaft spin without spinning the PTO in the tractor. I have heard that with spinning type mowers the centrifical force can be transfered through the PTO to the tractor and can actually "push" the tractor after the clutch has been pushed down. Should be easier on the driveline and maybe keep you from going farther than you want to. Not sure what to do about the hitch problem. I would use a hammer strap under the hitch to get the front of the mower down a few more inches. Otherwise, just raise the back and it'll at least mow even. Aaron
