My dad and I recently purchased a '49 M for something to do and tinker with. It is a good running tractor in good original condition. While looking to buy our tractor we were more concerned with the overall condition of the tractor verses the options already on the tractor. Our M has neither aftermarket power steering or live hydraulics. We are curious about adding these features since we have seen them on several other Farmall's we've seen at shows and auctions. This is the first inquiry I've made into how to go about this or even what the cost of either may be. So we are curious about parts suppliers, etc. and what kind of cost we can expect to run into. Please provide any information you have. We would both appreciate it greatly.
