You say it is basically all there and in descent shape. How do you know it is in descent shape? If it is laying there with grass all growed up around it and hasn't been used for boo koo years then I would say $150 dollars is to much. Sickle mowers are a piece of equipment that really has to be in good shape and good working order to work good and smoothly. Other types of equipment can look wore out and still work good but a sickle mower is one that won't. Your sickle sections have to be sharp, your gaurds not wore down to far and have a good edge on em, and your templates can't be wore out either. And the mechanical part of the machine has to be good too. If the guy has been useing it or it truely is in good working shape, it is probably worth the $150. Otherwise you will be spending money on fixing it up after you get it.
