I would tend to put my efforts into getting 300 operational. Some observations, you are using a NH baler. Easiest baler in the world to power. How much hay will you bale this year? Back when these tractors were new the only guys much concerned about live pto were guys baling 2500 + bales per day or 20,000 + per year. I know a guy, milked 60 holsteins plus raised replacments, so he had to be baling 20,000 plus bales per year. He never had a tractor larger than 230, pto baler and no M&W clutch for that one. I also know another guy with NH pto baler, that baled 10,000 bales per year with a Super A. All live power is going to do is give you higher production per hour and if that is a big factor, put the M&W clutch in the H. You will find it useful mowing too in some conditions.
