So Kelly how knowledgeable is your wife about tractors? Does she know makes and models or just count piles and tires? How many other tractors do you have? How much storage space? You have to calculate all these factors into whether you even have to "let her know!" Now if you have say 4 similiar vintage red tractors - and you probably do or you wouldn't be asking advice here - you can take parts off of say three and put those in a pile near the 300 and if the subject comes up, those could be spare parts or replacements. If you have several storage spots keeping at least two tractors rotating every few days to different locations that will generally confuse the casual observer. However, if you only have one tractor and it is parked in the snow next to the garage, you'd better take DHuth2 advice about the diamond.
