Tractor Dance??

My wife and I went to Storm Lake Iowa this weekend to their hot air balloon races, which was treat enough. But....when we got there I saw a semi trailer sitting there with Farmall Pramanade and tractors painted on the side. Come to find out There were 8 tractors 4 H's and 4 C's inside waiting to square dance!!! Yes you heard me right Square Dance!! They say this was something they did in the 50's, and for a town's centennial this summer a gentleman thought it would be neat to do this. So they bought the 8 tractors fixed them up and painted them, all decked out with the correct color red and decals all located perfectly, and the fun began. They say they got the rutine down on the kitchen table this past winter with toy tractors, and when spring came practiced twice a week untill they got not 1 but 4 square dances down pat! I know nothing about square dancing but it was really neat to see the H's paired up with the C's wheel to wheel spinning doing all the moves. Of course the drivers were decked out in square dance cloths and the 4 poor guys driving the C's were in dresses and wigs. It was really quite a show and a great surprise for me to get to see so many good looking tractors, my wife and kids even liked it. I guess you had to be there. Oh well I thought I would share this tid bit of info with you. Thanks for your time Doug
