Kelly, I have a IH 1701 loader on my 460 and it bolts to the 4 bolt holes in the bell housing at the center of the tractor (2 on each side). It then has 2 arms that bolt to the frame rails. I may be wrong here, but I think most quik-tach loaders made nowadays have the brackets bolt to the bell housing and the frame rails also (or maybe just to the frame). Either way, all the weight is on the front half of the tractor. I've never had any problems with mine and have lifted many loads that were way to heavy for the loader. Also, if most of the loaders are made that way now, it must be a tried and true design. I wouldn't be afraid to buy it; as long as the price is right and it's in good shape.
