That loader looks like a Farmhand (I forget the model number) and it likely had a hay basket instead of a big bucket. It likely had a pushoff unit and it would have been used for stacking hay. They were widely used a few decades ago and were very popular in the Dakotas and Nebraska, etc. They were made in Hopkins, Minnesota.
