Dave_Id is correct, I restored a 42 in like condition. Unless you get it for free or little $$ AND buy another tractor for parts, it will get expensive. I have about $2500 or so in just the engine, rearend oil seals, and brakes on my H. Click the link to see the work that went into it. I'm also adding live hydraulics and power steering now at a cost of about $500. I put around $750 in the mower I have for it too. I'm hoping it lasts the rest of my life for the investment I have in it. - Did I mention it still needs body work and paint?
