After finishing the engine job on my 46 A, (the smoke has cleared, and she runs great!!) I now have a leak in the front crankshaft oil seal just behind the belt pulley. It's a pretty steady drip too. My question is...can I replace the seal by removing the front bolster, oil pan, belt pulley, and crankcase front cover, with the engine still mounted to the rest of the tractor, or do I have to remove the engine from the tractor to do the work.?? Does the crank have to be removed?, if so, can I drop it out of the bottom? Haven't done anything like this before, and I'm not sure of how to go about this job. Any ideas in the easiest procedure would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Doug
