I believe you are right Bill. When he did show up I gave him some of the boards I did not want to help me in some clean up. He spent the rest of the afternoon pulling the nails out of them. My wife commented that at the rate he was working if would have taken a month to remove the barn. Me tearing it down will work out better as I will no doubt use some of the materials and I can sell what I do not use. Even thinking of using some of the materials in my new house, such as in a fireplace mantle and some trim. Would make a good conversation piece and keep part of grandpas old barn alive in a way since I could not save it.
