Automotive reflectors have always been silvered. That means electroplated with silver. Silver has the highest reflectivity at 98% of all the common metals used in plating. It has been 25 years since I have any reflectors done but it wasn't expensive. I had a plating shop do mine. The environmental police have shut down most of these guys. Ask some business that sells real silverware or an antique dealer where they send their work. You could also check Hemmings Motor News. They have a web site.
