OT: Old (1916-1921) Packard Front Axle?

Sorry this is OT but I appreciate your help. When I bought my tractor I also got a farm built trailer that was used with it. It is a mostly wooden trailer with an old car axle underneath it. I have been told the axle is off a 1916-1921 Packard. The wheels are wooden spoke with rubber tires and are in overall decent shape. The drum brakes are still on the axle. The axle is rather rusty. Also on the trailer is a set of fenders that look as though they may have belonged to the same car. I was wondering if this might have any value and if (I am planning on rebuilding the trailer) it's worth saving? Thanks, SAm in NS
