I don't have a production figure on this machine, but am pretty sure that it was not a massively produced tractor by no means. Probably a little on the rare side. That will make it tuffer to find parts for, and add value to it as it sits in present condition. Actually, in all reality it is probably worth more as a parts tractor than it is as a fixer upper. By saying that, I don't want to disencourage you in any way as to buying it and fixing it up. I am just saying that if you are going to fix it up, I wouldn't pay much for it because you will spend plenty of money putting it back on-line. Probably more than it will be worth when done. Somebody buying this tractor for parts don't have to factor in the cost to put it back in shape. Actually its just opposite because they can figure up the value of what they can get for this, and for that, and so on. I would offer to haul it off for free. If he rufuses try to buy it for little or nothing. Like 50 or $100. If he refuses then ask him again how much he wants. He will probably then tell you what he was hoping for. No since in rewarding the guy with alot of money for letting it get in such bad, bad shape.

Today's Featured Article - Gatherin of the Orange - by Rick Nikolich. In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999. He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana. ... [Read Article]
