I want to repaint our 1086 this summer if I get enough $$ saved up. The problem I have is that there are 2 different shades of International red at my paint shop. I have used the brighter red on the 544 and SMTA and it looks different than the 1086. I wasn't around in 78 when the 1086 was new so I don't know if it was the darker or brighter color. I use PPG acrylic urethane paint if that helps. Thanks in advance for any help!
