I know Mike I know. I have been trucking logs in the sunny south of Ontario, St.Thomas, Aylmer, Tillsonburg and the like. Last evening I allowed the powers that be to load me with veneer logs to go to Durham. I had been strongly resisting that one. This morning I headed for Durham, got as far as Woodham, turned and headed home, close to 4 hours after leaving I turned back in my drivway. Must be all of 35-40 miles. At one point visability was nil, I stopped, whole bunch of cars behind me, half with hi beam lights on. As I came to a stop I felt my right front wheel go down, snow from plow was up to right mirror. I raised my lift axles, to put more weight on drives, locked up power divider and diff locks, low and behold that 500 hp Cummins did its job. I backed out of it. I got to the gas station at Elginfield, most of the cars came in behind me. One lady said what a godsend to have that big truck with all the lights on it to follow. They actually beleive I could see better than they. Your weather is mean, sounds like your hospitality is great though.
