I have tried several methods to get dents out of tractor gas tanks. I tried the body shop suction cups, but the tractor gas tanks are made of much heavier sheetmetal than car fenders. I am working on a B Farmall with dents in the gas tank. I am thinking of trying the paintless dent method. They glue a block to the center of the dent and use a bridge across the dent and pull up on the glued down block with a threaded rod. I still don't know if you can get enough force without pulling the glued block off the metal. I am going to try it when it warms up so I can get the paint off and pull on the bare metal. If that doesn't work it's bondo. Someone mentioned using air pressure. If you pressurize the tank you will end up bulging out the bottom of tank as those tanks were never meant to be pressurized to say nothing of the safety hazard (I don't think a tractor fuel tank would stand 40 psi without blowing up - at least most of them) Roger
