Truth of the matter George, is that my dad should never have bought a Cub. He had been milking 15 cows a mowing hay with horses. His team and they were a good team could out mow the Cub, both with 5' cutter bar. He had gutted his horse barn to make room to milk another 15 cows, took on about 100 additional acres. He needed a 7' mower. within ten years of the Cub purchase there was a 9' New Holland haybine on the farm. The Cub was just plain out of its league.
