Wardner: like you I have never seen any designation of the electrall on any particular baler. Having owned 45 and 46 balers, I would have to say the picture in Wendel's books is a 55. Does that electrall unit or the electric motor drive the baler in the same maner as the mounted gas engines did? If that be the case you could mount the electrall on just about any pre 1975 baler. On the engine drive baler, all companies used the flat belt around the flywheel to transfer power.
