Pat, I think you are absolutely correct, that behaviour was for dominance over his little herd of cows and I was something to be put in place. I had a heifer in heat fall in love with me a few years ago and she tried to mount me while I was fixing a gate in the barn..she knocked me flying but I managed to avoid the gate and just fell for ward head first into the cow s--t..don't you love it when heifers fall in love with you???...Mike in Exeter Ontario
