As for numbers I would guess less than 1000. My IH tractor data book doesn't list seperate numbers for the narrow tread. Narrow tread Regulars, F20s, F30s, etc. were made for farmers with crops that had rows that didn't fit the regular production tractors widths. Remember, these were the tractors with drop housings out back so the only adjustment was to get rims with different offsets and/or reverse the rims. The 10-20, 15-30 and W series tractors were designed for non-row crop operation. They had fixed tread width and were available only with wide fronts.
