Don't want to start a quarell but we all have had different experiences. When we ran LP tractors back in fiftys and sixtys we used regular gasoline rated oil and were told one of the advantges of LP was that oil would stay cleaner. Engines almost allways lasted longer than ones on gasoline and oil always looked brighter. Also worked for many years at plant that ran at least 50 LP fork lifts and we used regular gasoline rated 10W 40. Engines were almost allways running fine when rest of lifts wre worn out and believe me they did not run in a friendly enviroment.
