It is genuine CIH Hytran. It wouldn't completely shock me if there is water in the oil becuase we had a horrible hydraulic leak this summer that just dawned on me now. A seal/gasket or something went bad and leaked oil for days. It was fast enough to drain enough out to make you scared to drive it more than 6 hours without adding oil for the tractor's sake. I forgot about that until now, but still, this has done this for years. I don't know the maintance scheduale of this tractor, but I know that the engine oil was changed a year ago this fall. I'm sure it has been three years since we changed all filters, so I'm sure it is time. Thanks for the post, and I will post on the board about any progress. Happy Holidays!!!
